This is Lucky. Lucky has not been very lucky. He'll be 2yrs old in March. Lucky is German Shepherd and perhaps Lab, but looks mostly Shepherd. He spent most of his first year of life in a crate, with no affection, no exercise, no freedom. He's afraid of other dogs, the rescue recommends no dogs and no kids, but does get along with cats. He sometimes spins uncontrollably. He's very intelligent, but has a problem processing some things, that's when he spins. He's been food aggressive, but he also can be affectionate. He's housebroken, loves to play catch, can walk on a leash, but needs work on this. He is a special needs dog, he is getting ... (Read More)Prozac on a daily basis, but ideally he would be with someone who is calm, but assertive and will have the patience to work with him and get him to a behaviorist. He's been in foster care for the last 6 months circumstances have changed at his foster home and he has to get out. If a new foster or permanent home or another rescue does not step up Lucky will be euthanized. Please help. (Less)
